Default replacement shocks

I have a 2008 Honda accord ex-l v6, with 150,000 miles and I'm considering replacing all 4 shocks, some say Monroe, KYB's, others Honda shocks. Which brand is the best all around shocks for ride, control and comfort.Puzzled

Kind of a debate. I personally can't say one is better than the other.

I have personally used KYB before and didn't have any issues or complaints about them.

Again just my personal experience.

Do you by any ways have your ride lowered and have you put on larger tires and rims.

I recently put Monroe quick struts on the front of my 2007 accord lx with 110000 miles and I am sort of disappointed. Not terrible but not as good as the original ones

2008, and your just getting around to replacing the shocks after 150,000 mi.? If the originals (OEM Honda) were good for that long, no way would I buy any shock other than Honda (OEM) style shocks. Monroe, KYB, Koni, and Gabriel really only good on most cars no more than 65,000-70,000 mi..

If you want a factory ride use the factory parts, shocks, ball joints, etc.
