Default ROTORS

hey everyone, im pretty sure i have warped rotors.. there is significant shudder during braking and its way more than i'm comfortable with having, so I have to take my car in soon. If it is just my front rotors which I think it is, I'm planning on getting them "spun". What are the chances that they wont be able to "spin" them, and if i need new rotors, do I get raped by the dealer's pricing or should I go the aftermarket direction? I have no clue what any of this means for my brake pads/calipers either. I dont know much about brakes, could someone help me out? thanks!

getting them spun is going to depend on the runout (amount of warpage) of the rotors and the actual thickness of the rotors.

I would personally go aftermarket if they can't be turned. Stick with a good brand like brembo though.

Well they definitely need to be replaced, all 4 rotors and pads. i could wait a few months on the fronts but I'm gonna do them all at once. So check out this deal:
4 cross drilled and slotted Brembo rotors = $180
Honda Brake pads (i dont want squeaks)= $130
Meineke Labor to put in MY parts= ~$160

.....the shop I took it to wanted $720 for stock rotors and non-honda pads!!! HAAA! yeah right. I could probably install them myself, too, but I just dont have the time before I go back to college next week. I think I'm getting a real good deal. Let me know what you think!

sounds like a decent deal to me. The pads seem a little pricey (i've never priced OEM honda ones) but the rotors are a good deal. Labor seems about right too.

If you have time, I'd look around online for OEM honda pads to see if there's a better price. But that could just be what they cost.
