Default strut bar?

Does a strut bar make that big of a difference in handling? I don't race but I do enjoy giving it heck now and then. I just wondered if it was worth getting one, and if so, what is a good one? Thoughts?

I used to have an '04 Civic coupe and it didn't come with a bar. When I installed a Neuspeed bar it made the world of difference handling wise. I was truly amazed by just installing a bar attatched to the struts how much of a difference it made. I am sure glad that my Accord comes stock with one, but if it didn't I for sure would spend the money to get one!

Oh yes it makes a world of difference. Most cars use a unibody frame, basically one giant metal box that everything is shoved in to. Downside is that too install an engine and make it accesable as well as provide trunk space, unibody frames have no support from one side of the vehicle to the other in areas around the engine bay and the trunk. This allows the body to flex, which has the effect of making the ride more comfortable, since the body flex absorbs the impacts from the road, but it also means that momentum used in handling is lost by the body flexing. A front and rear strut bar will eliminate that flex, improving the handling, but your ride will feel rougher since the body is absorbing less of the road bomps.

I have a 99 accord and I just put one on and it made a world of diffrence. I bought mine on ebay for under 20 bucks and its the same as the one I hnd on my 92 which costed me 50. But it would be a great and cheap addon.
