RE: Is a strut bar worth it?
yea, you have to wait until the 8th of this month since the company I bought it from shipped it out late when they said priority shipment, bunch of lying salesman[sm=icon_flaming.gif] but I bought it over ebay, they are only about 30-40 bucks and a known brand[sm=signs007.gif]
nevermind, nrg doesnt make an application for the 7th gens.

Why not one from Honda? It attaches to the strut towers and the firewall. It's built like a tank and comes stock on theV-6 six speed coupe. There's nothing out there that's stronger.

RE: Is a strut bar worth it?
the material of the strut tower bar matters, steel is twice as strong as aluminum in compression, aluminum is 3x as light as steel. As long as the car isnt involved in an accident then the bar goes on fairly well (light hammering is sometimes needed or oversizing the mounting holes).
It shouldnt bend unless the welds are garbage, you do get what you pay for however.
A stress bar will also prevent sagging of the strut towers over time by keeping them in sync, its just reinforcement really, they are definately a upgrade that should be done to any car before modifying the rest of the suspension.
