Question Suggestions for New Struts on My Lowered 88 Accord

I have an 88 Accord and I just lowered it. When I was putting the springs on the struts, I pushed down one of the struts and it did not come up by itself. I have looked but have not found anything for a lowered car. Do you have to have a certain strut for a lowered car or can you use just a standard strut like Gabriel? Does anyone know a good brand to get for good handling?

Koni Sports (Yellows) > Tokico > KYB

The KYB GR-2 are OE replacement so stay away, the AGX are adjustable but have a high proobability of blowing than the Tokico. Koni and Bilstein will be the top of the line choice.
