Default suspension noise

hey im noticing a creaking noise from what sounds like the suspension on the front passenger side wheel. The noise comes from this one wheel only and can be heard when applying the gas and when taking your foot off the gas, at slower speeds. Any ideas on what this noise could be??

Could be a number of things: bushings, strut, ball joints. You can do a visual after removing the wheel, maybe there's a clue there.

Can you make the noise by bouncing the car up & down when parked?

Great, that way you have a better chance to pinpoint the location of the sound.

If there's no noise (clunk) when going over bumps, more than likely the arms bushings and ball-j are ok. I'd remove the strut and take it appart (spring compressor). Then I'd work the shock absorber down and up to duplicate the noise. Also check the strut mount (top) for wear.
Before you remove the strut - need to mark strut location on the spindle to be able to install back at the exact same location. That will save you a wheel alignment later.
While you have the strut off, check arms operation up/down, and sideways for play.
