So, my brakes are lacking lately. I need an upgrade. My pedal sinks to the floor easily (with full fluid) and I don't get the instant reaction I want when stopping. If I were to get new brake pads, and new steel braided lines, would that fix both problems effectively? What do you prefer? And what brands?

 

I would first figure out WHY your having these problems. Not just throw parts at it.
