Hi guys
I'm looking for a set of wheels for my car and i came across this set of Focal F5.. they look really nice, this is the link

The package has 17 wheels with choices of 205/40 or 215/45/17 tires but i checked tirerack.com and they recommended 215/50/17 for my 2000 V6 sedan. Which size of tire should i go for guys? the 205/40, 215/45 or the recommended one from Tirerack.. Besides, I want something that should give me the everyday comfortable drive not the kind of bumpy ride ones .. thanks in advance for the inputs...

 

I'd say ride-wise, go with the 50's. I'm pretty sure that anything 'smaller' than that is low-profile. I've been torn about which to get, but I think that since I want 18" wheels, I don't have too much choice.

I dont know if you have purchased your wheels/tires yet....But my 01 is sittin on 17in focal f5s and i dont notice any realy ride change from my stock 15's. I switch up before winter every year and just put them back on for the summer and i cant feel a difference myself.

 

oh really? do you have the 40 or 50 radius tires?
.. it's really interesting bro.. like u said, i guess they dont make any diffirences.. cool
