17s or 18s???

I had 18's and still didnt think they filled in the fenderwells enough so I got 19's.... Go with 18's trust me. Tires are too expensive for 19's and 17's just dont fill in any space..

Well for me, I had 15's and was going to go to 16's but decided to goto 17's. 18's are to big for me. Right now anyway.....

18's still leave a gap in the wheel well...you might want to lower the car slightly...however stay away from chrome way to heavy...stick to a polished aluminum...looks just as good with a nice lip!

x2 with the 18s, i have 18s on my car, allota space though, still saving up for the drop, but regardless j_mans points are good

If you maintain the same (or very close to the same) tyre circumfererence (and you should because it will mess with your speedo reading if you don't, and might well be illegal) then the diameter of the rim will make no difference to the 'gaps' to the wheel arches (but you will need lower profile tyres to maintain the tyre circumference with larger rims). If you want less of a gap from the top of the tyre to the bottom of the arch you need to lower the chassis.
