18's on V6 Coupe, tire problem?

Hi, have anyone tried 18's on their Honda Accord 98-00 V6 Coupe that is lowered 2.5 inches? I was just wondering if 18's fits well when lowered already and will NOT rub off tires from the inside. If not! That would be excellent, if no...then that sucks. Please let me know so I can order the rims and wheels. I need to double check with the pros here. Thanks

talk to your wheel/tires guys, if you can maintain stock tire diameter then it shouldn't be a huge deal... I've seen 17's done but not 18's.... Ask the tire guys if they will work and what's the policy if they don't.

**You can go to 18" wheels and tires if you do the right size tires such as 225/40/18 and dont go any wider than this...if you should want to go up to 19" rims and tires , then dont go any tire other than 225/35/19...I Have Spoken

Is 225/40/18 a 100% sure number? Not all 18's are the same are they? It doesn't matter, as long as more than one person is SURE that size tire will not rub off to the fender with 18', im happy...please let me know if anyone HAS that size rim & tire and it works perfectly and im good..

I'M ROCKING SOME ADR 18'S AND THEY FIT FINE I HAVE A 2001 4 LUG THATS LOWERED 2.5" YOU'LL BE FINE.

ur ride is gonna get real harsh on those so be prepared....I ride on 17s and they are a lot firmer than the 15s that were on my previous car a '98 accord
