tire size for 18" rims on 09 coupe
I'm looking for some 18" gloss black rims with a silver 2" lip. Anyone know the tire specs for something like that on a 2009 Accord Coupe? Can I just replace my stock tires/rims or will I have to do something extra to put on a new set of 18" rims with tires?
Also, can someone recommend some good rim brands?
Thanks!

18" specs
18" tires come stock on the V-6 version and if im not mistaken they are 235/45/18. As far as a custome rim the only difference I would think is the width but that would most likely be the same. I would just go on a tire website and check what the standard sizes are for the V-6 model but like I said im pritty sure mine are 235/45/18. and make shure the speed and weight rating are good for your car.(call honda)

Once you find a wheel you like, ask the question again with the link to the wheel so we can see the specs.
Wheel width and offset play a big role in correctly sizing the tire, since running a lower offset (pushing the wheel out to the fender) can cause rubbing and make in necessary to stretch a narrower tire. (Tire fitment would me more like \____/ rather than |_____|) EDIT: Even though the V6 model may come with 18" wheels, they have a high offset (~+55mm) so there aren't any rubbing issues.
As far as the speed and weight rating, they should be the same or higher than stock, but as they go up, I believe the stiffness of the sidewall goes up as well.
