Default 2003 OEM rim fit with 215/50R16?

Hi all,

I am looking for a new set of tires for 2003 4dr Accord. I want to buy low profile tire with the OEM rim. is it possible? e.g. 215/50R16 90V or 205/50R16 87W

Thanks

Zusue

And the purpose would be? Sticking with the stock size keeps your speedometer accurate, your ride height the same, and your handling the same. If you want a lower profile (more than stepping down 5%), pick up some bigger wheels.

Plus, that 87 load rating is too low for your car.

205/65/15 is as big as you would go with those stock rims...

For winter tires, I put on my set of steel rims with 205/65/15. Did you mean I can put 205/65/15 tires to stock rims? I thought my stock rims are 16".

2003 Accord came with different stock size wheels.

LX = 15" steelies with 205/65-R15 tires & plastic wheel covers.

Different versions (EX, V-6, etc) came with (I think) either 15" aluminum or 16" aluminum, depending on other options or versions.

You can not put 15" tires onto 16" rims.

Exclamation More Sizes

The 2003 Accords had 3 OEM wheel sizes, so I guess it depended on what came on your car as OEM or what may have been switched out at the dealer...OEM sizes were 15" 16" & 17"
