Default 2008 EX Replacement tires

My OEM Michelin Pilot MXM4 225/50 R17 tires need replaced. I am having a hard time spending the money for Michelins but don't want to give up the handling and ride that I am used to. I drive agressive. Has anyone installed Cooper Zeon RSA-3 tires on their cars? Consumer reports rates them as a top buy. I have also looked at the Bridgestone Turanza Serenity and the BF Goodrich Advantage T/A. I was told the Bridgestone and the BF Goodrich won't give me the same feel as I had with my Michelins, which leads me back to the Michelin Primacy MXM4. I am interested to see what others have found out.

Can't offer any direct experience. Suggest reading reviews at tire rack and maybe Amazon.

Recent article suggests many of these reviews may be "prepared posts" by folks who get an indirect benefit from posting the review.

good luck

I have a 2008 Honda Accord LX (4 cyl) and bought it used.

It had Sumitomo which were OK. I replaced them with Kumho Ecsta Platinum (600 AA UTQG rating).

The road noise in the car at highway speeds were unbearable.

I replaced those (getting a credit from Discount Tire) with General Altimax HP (440 AA UTQG rating)

The road noise did go down about 10%. I think because it was a softer tire.

Basically I looked at the UTQG rating and the lower the number the softer the ride.

I've heard Micheline (OEM) have high road noise.

On certain pavement the OEM Michelin has high road noise. I forgot to mention that I live in Ohio and need a tire that does well in the snow also.
