well turns out I got ripped of either way! The rims fit perfect and 3 of them were bent so bad they needed over 6oz to balance which I was told would make my car ride like hell. So taking them to the scrap yard for .60 a pound found my stock rim for 95 bucks with a tire wow I feel like I got screwed really bad!

You did and I feel bad for you about it. Too much of that goes on in life and honest people get caught up in it too often.

Well tire shop took all the tires off all 6 rims I had for free because they can sell 2 of them as used. Took them all to the scrap yard got 86 bucks for them. Then was able to find my stock rim for 80 bucks another used tire 30 bucks and I now have 4 stock honda rims with good tires for a total cost of 146 dollars and 4 hours of my life! AH guess i will learn to check my rims if i ever decided to put a set on the accord. Thanks for all the support and quick response in this thread!

Default accord rims

I have 2 sets of factory 1988 Lxi rims. Will they fit my daughters 97 accord?
Thanks, Cory

'88 are still the 3rd Gen, so I believe they are 4x100 not 4x114.3 like 5th Gen Accords.

Check for yourself though......measure the distance between the center of one lug hole, to the center of the lug hole directly across from it. If both wheels have the same distance, then they will fit.

According to TireRack, the 88 has 4x100 bolts so they will NOT fit.

They should fit (for example) a 95-ish Integra or Civic.

Uncovered them out of my shed last night. 4 of the rims have 8 holes. 4 holes look to be 4.5" centers and 4 look like 4" centers. She is driving over here this afternoon so I can try them out. I assume a 4x114.3 mm is about 4.5"? Appreciate the input!

YES. Never on Honda factory rims, but I've seen aftermarket rims that have both sets of holes like that.

114.3mm = 4.5 inches as long as you were measuring diagonally across the opposite holes.

The 100mm bolt circle is 3 & 15/16 inch.
