5 lug rims on a 4 lug

Default 5 lug rims on a 4 lug

hi , i would like to know what is it that i need to do in order for me to use 5 lug rims on my 98 accord lx 4 lugs. thanks guys

highly don't recommend it but you can buy one of those ebay Hub adapters.Or, do a accord v6 5 lug conversion.plenty of how to's floating around the web.

You'll need to convert your front hubs & rotors over to 5-lug, which is basically the same job as replacing the wheelbearings. Pressing the 4-lug hub out will most likely destroy the wheel bearing. New bearings, new hubs, new rotors.

Check the diameter & thickness of the rotor in some published specifications. If the V-6 uses bigger rotors, then you need new brake calipers as well.

Pretty much the same story at the rear, but you may need to do a rear-disk-brake conversion from V-6 parts. The 7th-gen Accord LX has drum brakes & 5-lug wheels, but I don't know if you can just install that hub & drum.

Lots of work... How bad do you want it?

i really wanted it so that i can put acura tl wheels on the, but i dont think its that important to me. , thanks guys

Some day you're gonna need new wheelbearings anyway, so maybe just wait till then?
