Best tires for replacement 08 Accord LX 2WD
Hi,
I own a 2008 Honda Accord LX (2 wheel drive, Automatic Transmission). I was warned about my current (first) set of tires being worn out. Can someone suggest good replacements? My wheel model is 215/60R16. My current mileage is 57000 miles.
I looked up the local pepboys and the estimates for 1 tire seem to be between $80 -$200. I checked at another repair shop and asked for a Michelin Defender BW and he quoted me $195 which is above my budget.
Any suggestions are welcome. I work as a consultant and have to drive cross country (not coast-to-coast but at least midway) every 2-3 years. Last I drove from NJ to MN in 2009 and MN to MD in 2011.
