I'm ridin on 19's with Falken 225/35/19 FK-452 tires. You're right, Falken tires are really soft. They ride great and I'm glad I went with them.

ok, i was driving today, and i was going down this road that is newly paved with no imperfections or anything, but i could feel small bumps as i go along, in a constant pattern and i was driving about 30-35 mph
i dont know what that could be about, do you guys have any ideas?

the higher speed rated tires are generaly speaking a harder rubber so there is less give or "bounce" in them.... the type of tire that you put on makes a big difference in low profile situations... also, on that TL with 17's what size tire did he have? I'm going to assume that his tire was a bit taller (more sidewall)

Agreed. The amount of sidewall has a lot to do with the amount of cushion you get. My M3 came with Michelin PS2s on 19" rims. I bought the car in April and got used to a very stiff suspension (as expected / desired) and non-compliant ride. For winter, I put on a set of Pirelli Sottozeros on 17" rims, for the same overall outer diameter. The difference in ride was very apparent, as the larger sidewalls on the Pirelli's absorbed quite a bit of the road shock.

yea, that's my conclusion
because this past week, i havent really felt it that bad, so i guess i have gotten used to it
but i still need better suspension

I cruise the Falken's as well. I just sold my 2001 civic and it had 18's on it. 235/35/18 I loved them. I had no trouble with them. But when there was somthing wrong with the tire, like one got a crack in the side wall, it was driving ruff.
But really, isn't that a good thing?
