I have an '01 V6 Accord. I use the stock 15" rims for my winter tires and I have the Honda 16s that I use for summer.

For summers I was using GoodYear GS-D3s. I thought they were great. Sadly, they need replacing.

The 16" rims from Honda recommended 205/60/16s. I thought that was a bit odd since the stock 15s were 205/65/15s. With that in mine I had put the GS-D3s on in 215/55/16s. Ran great.

However, it seems that Goodyear doesn't make GS-D3s or really any summer tires in either 215/55/16 or 205/60/16.

Can anyone recommend a good replacement for them? I know some people complained about road noise on the GS-D3s but that never bothered me. I liked their performance.

 

I would look in to Firestone tires. I just had a set of Primewell 195/60 R15 put on yesterday. So far they are great for a cheap tire. But looking at the rest of what Firestone has I would go with them. And they have some good deals too..

 

If you are just cruising go for General UHP

There aren't really any perfromance summers above 50 aspect ratio that I am aware of.
