My wife and I have been looking for rims for her 04 Accord Sedan and we have found some but she is concerned about wheel and tire scrubbing on her car. It is completely stock with no plans of changing anything other than the rims.

Here are the rims, I will go ahead and apologize for "stealing" someones pic of the rims.


She is currently running these rims (16").


We have found a set of rims like the first picture with 235/45 on them and we would like to get them but I would like opinions on if we would have scrubbing issues on her car.

Any and all input will be greatly appreciated.

I don't recognize what year those 10-spoke rims came from. Are they 17"? The bolt-pattern & offset will be good because they're Honda rims.

I'd go to tirerack.com and go through the motions of getting "plus-one" tires. If they indicate that 235/45-R17 tires are OK I'd believe them.
