Problems putting 2008 rims on an 2006?
I have an 06 accord with the 16" rims. I'd like to put 2008 17" on it. I've called my local Honda dealership, but they won't say for sure. The guy said they should fit but Honda doesn't recommend switching rims. Has anyone done this, and if so do you have any pics.

New gen, but I don't believe Honda changed offset. It may be that the 8th-gen car has more fender clearance for WIDER tires. I don't know the specs.
You could go to tirerack.com & go thru the motions of picking rims for your car, then pretend you're buying for a 2008. If they both come up with the same choices of 17" rims. Especially if the choices for TIRE sizes are the same, then you're good.
