I recently scratched the lip (outer edge) of my wheels (17 inch) and need to figure out a way to smooth out the gouges. I was thinking of using a grinder (very carefully) to smooth out some of the deeper gouges. Anyways, any help is appreciated.

 

be very carefull if you decide to grind down the gouges.... if you remove to much material you can make the rim permenantly out of balance
