Default Tire size for 18's???

OK so I know the recommended change for for 06 V6 coupe is 215/45/18 but I am thinking I would like something a little wider. I found a great deal on some 18x7.5 with +37 offset. I was wondering if I could run a 235/40/18 and not stick out any. Stock height for now but prob lowered 1-1.5 later so I have to worry if it will rub then too.

Hi Member...This is more like what you need to stick with on your sizes...

Tire should be a 225/40/18 with an offset of between 42-55mm and once you lower your ride , you wont have any where to go with a larger size..

Thanks for the help man...so does the offset need to be that big to work? Cause if so I am too low now...I have the 9 spoke similar to your picture, would you happen to know what the offset on those are?
