Red face Tire Size?

Hello,

Bought a 97 Accord SE last summer. Getting ready to buy tires, the car has 195/65/r15 Michelins on it now.

Went online and a few places listed the tire size for my car as being 185/65/r15.

A little confused, should I go with the original equipment size or with the size that is on the car now.

Thanks!

Check the sticker on the door jamb when you open the driver's side door. Stock size is listed right there.

Thanks Finch, just thought of that also while sitting here on the computer.

The door sticker says 185/65/r-15, but the tires on the car now are 195/65/r-15.

Not sure what size to go with at this point, any ideas?

The ones on the door jamb. Those were the tires Honda intended to be on the car to have the speedometer work correctly.

You can compare the sizes at http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html
