What tire size do you have on there now and what set of wheels and their size is my 1st question?

Sorry i ;should of specified. Ya but i have my original equipment tires michelin pilot 225/50R 17's. I've had a problem with my michelin's with outer edge wear on the fronts so that is why i wanted to change all four tires, just to from the michelin's and try something new.. So i was thinking of going with Sumitomo tires, size 235/45 17 you think that would be ok there nice tires.. I had them side by side with the O.E.M. tires there did'nt seem to be much of a difference, except that the Sumitomo's are a little wider.. What are your thoughts on that? Thank you

Wouldn't edge-wear get worse with a wider tire? Maybe look at camber & toe angles?

I agree, that and the OP should take a good long look at the tire pressure he's running (I'm thinking it might be rather low).
