would 205/50/16 tires be okay for 16x7 wheels? I want to maintain the stock diameter so that i don't throw off my speedo. I used a tire size calc and it came out fine. Just want to make sure.

To keep the same speedo and sizing, the tire size would be 205/60/16...you wont notice the difference with the 50 series tires tho...
