Hey guys! It's about time for me to get some new tires. I have the stock rims on there. Right now I got the 205's but I noticed the stock tires were originally 195. I like the size of the 205's so should i stay with this? And what's a good tire for a decent price? Is Kumho or Yokohama any good? Or maybe just bite the bullet and put some Micheline's?

 

Rims are often sized just slightly different than one another so most rims allow for a size difference of 10 to one direction or the other (depending on tread/sidewall etc.) but basically a 185/195/205 would all potentially fit on a 195 rim.... Simple explinaiton: just because you wear a size 11 in Nike doesn't mean that Puma's 11 will fit the same, they may both fit but one might be better than the other for you.....

Talk to the tire shop and let them worry about the size, good cheap tires? Falken Ziex or Falken Azenis all the way.... Ziex are great all around tire, good treadwear, Azenis wear out a bit faster but they grip better for auto cross/racing in general...

 

Cool. Big O Tires has those Falkens and there are grip of big o tires around here....i'll check them out. Thanks again sir = )

Is cooper any good? They are suuuuper cheap. Is that because they aren't any good or good cheap tire? Tread rating is 70k.

 

i use to use yokohama tires on my car before i put rims on. its a fair price and last a while.

Cooper tires are a good tire thats made here in Ohio..haven't had any type of trouble with them on the trucks..
