Question URGENT! Will my 2004 Accord LX support 16 inch wheels?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

I currently have a 2004 Honda Accord LX, and it has steel wheels with ugly plastic hubcaps. I would like to upgrade to the 5-spoke Alloy wheels. However, I am under the impression that these alloy wheels are 16 inch wheels, whereas my current wheels are 15 inch.

As long as I purchase the new 16 inch wheels and tires, will the car support the 1-inch larger wheels and tires???

THANKS SO MUCH!!!

Yes... they don't put any extra parts on for larger wheels from the factory...

Thanks so much for your reply!

Just so I am understanding correctly, you are saying that the 16 inch wheels/tires will fit with no problems?

Thanks again!

Yes, just make sure you get the correct sized tires.

Does anyone know exactly what size tire will be the best choice for 16" alloy rims?
Thanks!

Google "tire calculator" or go to a tire website and enter in your car details, but make sure the EX trim is selected, that should give you the stock tire size for the 16" wheels.

www.tirerack.com
Go through the motions of picking a tire based on your car, but say it's an EX. Or maybe an EX V-6. 16" tires are standard on a couple versions of the Accord.
