Default V or H Rating Question ???

V rating is rated at for a Higher speed than H. Which rating is best for a non-racing style of driving ??? Is one better than the other ?? Thanks...Dave

Neither one is BETTER exactly.

Either one is OK for speeds that would seriously attract the attention of the police.

H-rated tires often (not always) have better treadwear and cost less.

V-rated tires often feel more stiff & less mushy.
