what is a safe width?

Default what is a safe width?

I have a two door coupe lx v6 i am running 18s now but im going back down to 16 i was wondering what would be the best width to run but still have clearance to turn and for fenders

Is it a 1995 or 2011 or what? I can't see it from here...

If 16" is the stock size, why not get the stock width? You can probably go 10mm wider without worrying much.

Its a 2001 well I was wanting to go wider for looks and a little more tracktion.

Im running 16s and I've narrowed my choice down to 215/55 or 225/55 I kinda wanna go with the 225/55 cuz it would give the car a sick look with wider tires on what u do ya'll think?
