this has prolly been disgussed quite a bit in here, so please dont flame lol. my dad got his 04 accord ex back from the body shop and the stock radio is throwin an error code when i try and turn it on. i know the battery was disconnected and now i have to put in the security code. how do i go about doing this? my brother said he already tried doing this and he had no luck. should i try disconnecting the battery again and then entering the security code. any comments and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks

 

If code entry is attempted more than 3 times (?), the radio will not accept a code. You must reset the radio by removing BackUp fuse in underhood fuse box for 15 secs. Then enter correct radio code from owner's information delivered w/ vehicle when purchased. Turn radioON (you should see CODE in theradio display)and enter code. It will go to operating mode after 6th digit is entered.
