Default Android Audio Through USB

I recently got an Android phone (I used to have an iphone). When I hook it up, to play music, I get a message that says it is an unsupported device. I used to occasionally get this message with my iphone and would have to unhook it and reconect it, or charge it up above 8%. Is their any update or add on either to the car or phone I can get to make it work?

Not sure which car you are referring to, but for the new 2013 Accord, Android is only supported via Bluetooth Streaming Audio, not USB.

Sorry, I didn't post the kind of car it is. It is a 2011 Honda Accord.

My guess is if its not supported for the 2013 which has a lot more connectivity features, its probably not supported for the 2011. Check the owners manual, it will tell you.

iphone/ipod only. you'll have to run a separate Bluetooth AD2P receiver through the AUX input.
