Default $1 Headlight Restoration!

So today, I decided to restore my dad's headlights on his 99 Tacoma because they were really yellow and it was bothering me lol. I also did the lights on my Accord for the second time! Anywho, the secret is...TOOTHPASTE! It seriously works! It may not be as effective as an actual restoration kit. But if you don't want to pay $20 for a kit you can go and buy a $1 tube of normal white tooth PASTE. It has to be paste, not gel.

Thanks for the replies guys! I was gonna do a short write up on how to do this effectively, but it's just way to simple lol. Basically apply toothpaste, use a dish scrubber brush and apply liberal pressure, then rinse.

What did you use to apply it? Rag, buffer,. . .toothbrush?

Squeezed it directly onto the headlights, then spread with my fingers!
