can you repair halo's
hey all, Just got some new headlights and one of the halo's is already out. My original plan was to buy a new set and get a refund on these, but to save me a hassle, is there any way to repair burnt out halo rings in headlamps? thanks in advance

i got them from nopi, they said the fastest way would be for me to buy a new pair at 20$ off to pay for shipping. Then send them the defective ones back for a full refund. It's annoying because it'll probably take 2-3 weeks to replace. ANZO has no direct warranty but said to go through retailer.

You can defiantly change them. There should be some extra wires you had to connect to power for the halos. Trace the wires and see where they go. Once you find the LED or bulb, its prolly a bulb if it burnt out already, see how you can remove it. Once you have it out u can change it to what ever color LED you want. I would get a bulk order of LEDs of ebay so you can fix your halo lights and change some other lights.

also just put sylvania silverstars in my high beams and adjusted all my lights. Good thing they're high quality ones. They have four adjustment screws for each side. 2 for high and 2 for low. The sylvanias are awesome compared to stock. I just hope I adjusted them good enough to not blind drivers.

RE: can you repair halo's
I bought 2 pairs of projectors, one needs to go back and the seller is trying to screw me over
But anyways, I am installing my projectors 2morrow and will be replacing the leds before I put them in with 13k mcd ones so the rings will be really bright!
As for the replacement...I think its going to be somewhat tough. The wiring is routed inside the housing, so I plan of drilling out a 1 inch hole in the bottome of the housing so I can access the leds with needle nose pliers. I just have to be careful not to drill in the actual visible part of the headlight. Its going to be a sucky job...but better than taking them out again.
How hard is the install? Can you give me any tips?

you should open up the whole housing to get to the led's bake that sucker and pry it open. it's not that hard. doing a hid retrofit, and cant decide if i should put them in a pair of halos or into a black housing jdm's.
