I want an evo one for my Accord.

The thing ive been reading though, is that most CF hood manufactorors recommend putting in hood pins so the latch wont break.
The guy who uns my car club and has a sponsored eclipse was up on his way to HIN chicago or st louis and he was getting off a ramp and the hood latch came undone and broke the windshield and ruined the hood.

i got the evo hood and no hood pins and i know it will not fly off cuz its very secure when i close it with the OEM latch..i agree these hoods do keep the engine bay cooler so thats a plus

Sorry to go off topic. But with the evo hoods and such, where there is mesh grill is that a real scoop or fake? If its real doesnt water pour in when it rains and could damage the engine?

its semi real meaning, it has a layer of some kind of fiber under the mesh but its thin so water drips off around this layer of fiber...it does no damage to the engine because the water is minimal...i go thru automatic car washes every week so i would know
