RE: Ebay Body Kits
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FROM EXPERIENCE!!!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THOSE KITS!!!! THEY ARE COPIES OF COPIES and YOU will spend a lot more to do the mods to make it fit properly.
Problems with those kits...
poor fitment (some of them will guarantee fitment, but that is how I got burned..you will then have to pay for return shipping!)
fiberglass layers are unequally distributed
they are actually copies of copies!
in the long run, because of the poor quality, you will spend more money modding for fitment, repairing the kit contantly and after the paintjob (even after heavy duty modding) after the body kit is wet sanded and polished you will see uneven distribution of material.
The first kit that I got was from ebay.....Still have it and it's going in the garbage soon....I could only slavage the side skirts.
Don'T GET ME WRONG..I'm an EBAY freak....but when it comes to body kits I WILL NEVER BUY AGAIN unless it's a KAMINARI OR Razzi original urethane kit.
Shop around locally....If they have it in stock you'll get a good discount....That's what I did and when they prefitted the kit before painting guess what!! Perfect fit. which == less money and less headaches!!!!!
But then again.....just my opinion!!!

RE: Ebay Body Kits
Thanks for the reply guys.
I'm looking for a good, cleancut body kit for my 97 accord. If anybody has any recommendation it'll be great, I'm thinking of spending about <500 on a kit and then a paintjob.
Thanks.
