You might want to go take a look at the H.I.D. Planet forums.

More information than you can shake a H.I.D. at!

But look around the forums first before you ask a question....

I have done HID's before in my truck.. They due produce heat, more then halogen. I was thinking of doing it on my 03 Accord, with factor headlamps and all.. A couple of my friends are Honda tech's and they have seen the headlamps melt.(diamond)..So I am not doing it.... I have study Xenon lighting for about 3 years and was sent on training classes thru BMW...

Being an eletronics major, I am skeptical since HID lights draw less wattage than stock 335W verus 55 for stock bulbs. You cannot have more heat and more light output on less wattage...it just does not work that way...........

HID lights actually produce less heat than Halogen..........
