Default HID kit on 2006 accord

so im thinking about buying a HID conversion kit for my 2006 accord. my accord has daytime running lights, and im wondering that when i install the hid kit, if the daytime running lights will still work or not. if anyone has done this before and has an answer, that would be great. thanks :]

This would only matter if your installing HIDs in your high beams. You would have to disable the DRLs by pulling the fuse in the cabin fuse box. If not, your HIDs will flicker like a strobe from the low voltage when the DRLs are on. If your just putting HIDs in your low beams then the DRLs will function normally.
