Hi there guys I been having a problem with the driver side hid. I bought this kit for my sister since the HID kit made such a difference in light output for my truck. Please don't bash me about retrofitting with proper projectors, we can neither afford or want to put the effort into this. Anyways I bought the kit for her a few months ago and last week she complained about the lighting to me. She said that the lighting got worse, so I went out at night to check the spread. Took some pics and can't believe what I saw. Any diagnostics?

 

Inside the stock headlight housing, near the center and in front of the tip of the bulb, should be a reflector. From the look of the light spread, my guess is that reflector has come loose/broken off. If it is, it may have happened if the aftermarket HID bulb was substantially longer than the standard halogen bulb and made contact with the reflector.
