Default 94 accord lx code 9. wtf!

I have had many problems with my accord. When I got this car it would start up hard,id usually have to hold on the gas to get it started, it would run for a second and the check light would come on.I have checked the code and get a code 9. I adjusted the throttle with the IAVC screw(while the TPS is disconected) becuase I had a low idel, reset my ECU, and the car runs great. With a car that is now running good I have managed to fix most of the machanical, cv joints, struts, rack and pinion, rear trany mount, and gaskets in the spark plugg wells. I take it out for a ride and this car is really coming together well, get it home and park it over night. Wake up the next morning and I have a car that will barely start. I finally get it running and check wires coming from my distributor(moving them side to side) and my car stalls. I clean the connection with contact cleaner, hook it back up, and the car fires right up( no check engine light). So I turn it off and reset my ECU. I start the car up with no problems, let the car idel for about 5 min and take it for a nice and easy ride to let the Ecu do its thing. Get home, park the car over night. Wake the next morning and im back to square one. I have been all through this forum. I have spent hrs reading about ECU's,TPS,MAP sensers, code 9 and if It wasnt for this forum I think I would have had a tough time getting to this point. I am new to this machanic stuff and have to learn it by the internet or manual. What am I missing? please give any advice.

Sounds like time to get the volt meter out and have a bit of fun. Do you have a volt meter and willing to begin testing?

To be honest I dont know how to use a volt meter, but I will get one and google how to use it on a car. I recently downloaded a shop manual for my car and it has trouble shooting( check the ohms for this, check the ohms for that. ect...) but the whole checking of volts and ohms seems confusing to me.

I had it running good yesterday evening without a check engine light but this morning I tried starting without good results. Im leaning towards the FIT valve. When I just turn the key to start the car, it turns over but does not fire up. I have to pump the gas and hold it to the floor to get it started. Then after a few seconds of the engine running a check engine light appears.
