After a recent minor crash, I have to change the front bumper. I plan to replace the bumper and the broken side lamp myself. I have done minor car service (oil changes, brakes etc) myself earlier, and am confident I will be able to do the bumper work myself...with off course some help from the manuals and internet forums. If anyone on the forum has knowledge of bumper disassembly/assembly, any insights into the replacement process would help. I would also like to understand how to go about painting (or getting painted) the bumper if I decide on buying an after-market bumper. I have tried to embed a small picture of the broken bumper for your viewing pleasure...

there are just a bunch of little screws 10mm bolts and clips that hold it on. start ripping it off if it gives you any problems. paint... youll want to get that done somewhere else, and if you dont paint the whole car there is a good chance that the bumper might look different than the rest of the car.
