so i got my new headlights in an working an all but theres extra wire that hoook up to the halo rings that are spossed to light up but where do i attach those wires to ???? like theres no like pieces its just 2bare red wires ...

 

it depends on when you want the lights to come on. If you want the halos on everytime you turn on your car then wire them to the side markers that are always on, if you only want them on when the headlights are on then wire them to the headlight power line

 

Just make sure you wire them to 5v or even 3v. They say to wire them to 12v but that is why they burn out so quickly.

 

and maske sure that you insulate any connections very well. I have heard of fires due to connections shorting out due to water.

 

Better double check mine.....and they are hard to get to...great

 

it'll be worth it. there were a couple of incidents with m3s that started smoking cause of that.

 

how do i wire them to the side markers?

 

find the power wire that goes to the side markers (the one that's not black usually) and carefully strip a small section of the insulation off without cutting the wire, then wrap the bare end of the halo lead wire around it and use some black electricians tape and tape them together. Make sure that you wrap the whole thing really well so it's water tight.

 

Ill prolly wait til I get my HID's...hopefully soon!

 

arrite so i basicaally cut off abit the plastic part of the wire going to my turn signals?

then wrap the wires for the halos around then tape it tight?
but wont they flash wen put my signal on? sinse theere attached to the turns signal wires?

an yea how would i replace them wen they burn out?
an so wen i turn the car on they will come on too?
