Default lowering driver's seat?

Been looking at the 03-07 Accord EX-L V6 MT as my next car. Legroom is fine in the sedan, although less than an inch clearance between my head and the ceiling (I'm 6'5"). Headroom in the coupe is nonexistent - need at least another inch, possibly two, which is a shame since I love the look and feel of the car.

I'm wondering if anyone's replaced their Accord coupe or sedan driver's seat with a Recaro or other aftermarket seat to lower the driving position. If so, can you tell me how much additional headroom you achieved, and what seat you replaced it with?

Thanks,

odin

I would also like to know if anyone has any suggestions to this problem. Im 6'6" and considering selling it after 6 months of leasing it because I am starting to have back and hip pains.

It is the '11 with Leather, there has to be a economical way to lower these seats. another 3 inch would be heavenly!

In my Evo i bought some lowering brackets that attached to the OEM rails that worked great. I wish i could find something like that!
