Paint job
Whatsup guys, I have a 99 honda accord with a lot of scratches and dings on it and I was thinking about a new paint job. I wanted something inexpensive but decent, I was thinking about maaco, but I heard alot of bad thigns about them. What do you guys think?

RE: Paint job
I think Macco is going to be one of the cheapest and I'm sure they make mistakes once in a while but I'd use them and just ask lots of questions out warranty on the paint job etc. Will they fix it if they overspray? Find out everything ahead of time and if you're really worried write up a "contract" that states what they say they will cover, then take photos before they paint and after they are done and keep it all on record. I'd say cover your rear but use them none the less...

RE: Paint job
I just got an estimate for my car, and it was a little over $4000.00. Of course this is from a DuPont registry company - which basically means they are supposed to be very good, and they also give a lifetime warranty for as long as I own the vehicle. The shop looks nice and they seem to have high volume of nice cars. The price seems a little high, but I'm going to ask for more (at least three) estimates. Plus I also wanted to get exact details as to what they would be doing/not doing.
