Question Paint and Reducer

I bought an electric spray gun just to quickly get my bumper painted but I needed to know what I can use to thin the paint out with. I called the place where I bought it from and the guy gave me attitude so I didn't get too much of an answer. All I got was that it was polyester based and I should use a Urethane reducer.

Quick search and I couldn't really find anything on polyester based paints. Did I hear incorrectly? Anyone know if this is correct so I can effectively thin the paint I need?

Thanks

What paint did you get?

Personally, I would find an automotive paint supply store and see if they can help you out.

There arent too many around here. That place was my best option. But I can call a body shop and ask.

It seems like a single stage paint. When I sprayed it on (I originally paid to have it spray canned), it did well to stick to the old paint and provided a gloss finish without clear coat. I know they mix it there according to the pallet of car paint codes they have.

What is typically used for single stage auto paint?
