On the hood of my 2009 Accord I have a small chip in the paint from a rock that was kicked up from a major expressway here in NY. It looks a little smaller than a dime.

How should I fix this? Is it better to do this on my own with Honda touch up paint or should I have a professional do it? Thanks!

 

I had this same problem right above the sunroof on my 08 coupe. I tried to do it with just the touch up paint but it is quite apparent that there was a decent size chip. I don't claim to be a master painter by no means. I would suggest not doing it yourself unless you know what you're doing. Apparently I did not.
