Replace 2005 accord headlight bulb
Hi. I did an HID retrofit and used mini H1 projectors. Now one bulb blew off. I am unable to remove the driver side bulb as the clip holding the bulb is really tight and I dont have room to work. Do I have to remove the battery? If so do I have to take any additional precautions while removing the battery (like remove +ve terminal first, keep engine running etc.)? I already have the radio code with me.
Ps: I am beginner.

Generally, the stock headlight bulbs are access through the fenderwell covers, after the wheel is turned. A few plastic clips are removed from the fenderwell cover and the cover is slightly folded back. Still is hard to access though.
If removing the battery allows you access to the HID retrofit bulbs, then remove it. Negative battery terminal is removed first and reconnected last.

Thanks Redbull. I was able to remove the stock bulbs without removing any parts. But this retrofit H1 projects have a clip which is too tight to remove. I can reach to the bulb but unable to remove the clip.
