Default Short Antenna for 94-95 Accord

I have a 94 accord sedan that had the awful stock power antenna. I purchased a universal small antenna from a auto parts store, but it is still a foot and half long, won't stand straight up/down and gets horrible reception.

I basically want the opposite of what i bought - I want it to be 5" or so tall with good reception and has the ability to mount on the quarter panel incline of the 94-95 style accords.

What have others done? Where can i get one?

I know my friend put a S2000 antenna on his celica.....but if i recall it mounts on a more flat surface than the stock accord one, but perhaps you could make it work.

I hardly believe that no one else has had to deal with this. I know there are other 94/95 accords out there with bent power antennas. What have you guys done?

I have a 94 Ex and mine is on the rear quarter panel too. I'd like to go with one of those low profile ones off of like a BMW or something. Roof mounted and then just remove my stock one and shave it. Ahhhhh, smooth lines

^ That what I did... I just left the power antenna there and disconnected it, then I bought a black billet aluminum antenna that sat on the roof. It was sexy!

Here's what it looked like...

In worse rough shape now... either in a tiny steel cube or melted down and now part of your favorite steel object.
