I'd say go for it and paint around that chrome ring, if you don't like it you can always paint the ring after the fact....

Anyways, I finished them tonight and like the look! They arent all black, because there is still some chrome. Not enough to be considered ricey though!

So whatcha guys think?!

Imagine if you painted it to match your car color....lol.

Thanks! Im still getting used to the all black look!

That would look pretty awesome if they were the same color as my car! But one reason I went with black, is b/c they dont seem to be the brightest tail lights in the day, so the black contrast will help with that.
