Default Tree Sap Removal

Hey guys, when I bought my 06 accord in the winter, I noticed that there were three "older" tree sap marks on my hood. I was wondering if you had any idea on what to buy to remove them. Don't want to use anything to abrasive. I tried polishing compound and "Tree Sap Remover" in a spray can, but no luck.... any ideas? Thanks!

Claybar your car, it works great on tree sap but you have to be very careful with it or it'll jack your paint all to ****. On yeah, and you should set about 8 hours aside for this because once you see the results you'll want to do your whole car.
