It would hook up to the head unit with an adaptor or via the rear speakers. I am NOT handy at such things so I would pay someone to do it.....just ain't my bag.

Unlike some, my definition of good tunes is clarity and enveloping the listeners, without outrageuous volume. Old fart or not I want Skynard loud but clear with a proper amount of base. I only want to impress me, not the whole neighborhood.

Good luck with your subsearch.

yo if you change the interior speakers you better br looking to spend close to $800 installing it yourself. thats the only way your going to get a better sound than your stock speakers.

What are you talking about? The sub itself (Infinity Basslink) sells for 249 and the Alpine speakers for 70. That's 300+. The Basslink is a powered sub...plus the Dynamat needed for the trunk bring its to around 350...360 tops.

800 just on speakers is just a waste in my opinion, I rather spend that kind of money on the engine, getting a CAI or 1/4 of a turbo kit.

yo the stock speakers are fine if you want a better sound thats what it will cost. you talk about putting the alpines for $70 in you put them in and get back to me and tell me if you can hear a difference. in my opinion its a waste of $70 due to the fact your not going to be able to hear the diff.

Tell you what, when I get the money, I'll leave a stock speaker in...and one Alpine speaker installed.

And besides, a subwoofer will be in the back providing the extra "oomph"
